Whether it was shame or Goodreads (I find myself torn as to which one I want it to be) the plagiarized reviews and profile of the individual who posted them, is gone. This all happened within two days of me posting about finding these reviews. I am blown away by the support, sharing, and actions of my friends and strangers who worked to make this happen. If it was Goodreads, which I'm inclined to lean towards because so far the individual's only actions to address the issue was to change her name and her reviews are still on Amazon, I am impressed and grateful as to the expediency of their action; I honestly was setting a 2 week time mark in my mind for when I thought they would address the issue, if at all.
You all deserve a pat on the back for showing up, caring, and taking action in defense of each other's work. I know we didn't solve world hunger but it was beautiful to watch everyone's concern over the blatant plagiarism and spread the word. Buy yourselves a cupcake today, you earned it!
Now Amazon, let's see some action.......
