"She thought it over, but couldn’t see any immediate loopholes other than the threat of her inner slut emerging, and she could darned well control that little bitch."— Susan Elizabeth Phillips

There was snow but no mistletoe

Snow and Mistletoe - Alexa Riley

Task the Seventh:  The Christmas:

- Read a book set during the Christmas holiday season.

I never knew you could feel so much from a kiss. That it could tell you everything you wanted to know. He wants me. It's there in the way he's kissing me.

It's also there in the way he has you record audio books but then keeps them for himself because he doesn't want to share your voice with anyone, searches out the dirtiest part of books for you to read to him, investigated you, and has someone watching you.

This story could have easily slid off into NOPE land but somehow, someway it managed to hang on, barely, in this works land.

After an accident that leaves Alex scarred (dude has a lot of money but can't do anything about the facial scars?) he doesn't like being in public anymore so he moves to a cabin in Montana because no one lives out there. He starts an audio book business where Noelle sends her resume into and he falls into hard cock love with her voice. Noelle is an introvert to the nth degree who also lives in Montana, huh, more people live there than I thought and also gets hot from reading naughty story bits to Alex.

A snow storm and no internet (all that ever happens to me when I lose internet are occasional paper cuts) bring these two crazy kids together. It's slightly disturbing because Noelle realistically has no idea who this big scarred dude is yet he's trapping her against the door and she's sleeping in his bed. She's hot for him though and into it, so the reader is able to go along with it, even though Alex's stalker tendencies linger in the back of your mind. Visually, a bit like this,

It's a super short story, which I think helped because you just kind of have to quickly roll with things, and with a snowstorm and nerdy Christmas sweater it has a dash of holiday feel. I read this over my lunch hour, hoping no one would ask me a question because I feel like I'd answer with a distracted "Hmm, what? Cock." What I am saying is no shy readers for this one, people. This story is creepiness, cock, cum, and cuteness (cuteness? Yeah, I don't know how the author managed to pull this off either.)

I leave you with a quote that I refuse to be alone with having read,

My seed coats her unprotected womb, possibly making a baby to bind her to me.

Happy Holidays!
